BANGKOK — Japanese automaker Toyota has resumed production in Thailand as the country recovers from significant flooding that previously disrupted operations. The company had temporarily halted its manufacturing activities due to the adverse weather conditions, which affected logistics and supply chains.

Toyota's production, particularly of its Hilux pickup truck, was impacted by the flooding, leading to a suspension of activities at its Thai plants.

As of now, operations are back on track, indicating a recovery in the automotive sector. This is particularly important as Thailand's auto industry had already been showing signs of resurgence.

In addition to the automotive sector, Thai Airways is currently reviewing its crisis management strategies following the flooding, which had also left many travelers and their luggage stranded at Bangkok airport. The airline's response to the situation is under scrutiny as the country seeks to improve its handling of such emergencies in the future.
