Thailand Hosts Gastech 2026 Amid Global Energy Challenges
The upcoming Gastech 2026 in Bangkok will gather global energy leaders to discuss security and sustainability in the energy sector.

Thailand is preparing to host Gastech 2026, the world's largest exhibition and conference dedicated to natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and low-carbon solutions, from September 14-17, 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The event will draw over 50,000 attendees, including energy ministers and representatives from more than 150 countries, industry experts, and leading companies in the energy sector.
Organized by the Ministry of Energy in collaboration with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Gastech aims to address the pressing challenges of energy security and sustainability amid a rapidly changing global energy landscape. Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and infrastructure investment in meeting the energy demands of billions in Asia, which is projected to account for 25% of global energy demand growth by 2035, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Dr. Sinsukprasert highlighted that the future of the world depends on access to resources, infrastructure, and energy investments to maintain stability and resilience. He noted that Gastech will serve as a critical platform for knowledge exchange and strategic partnerships aimed at fostering a sustainable energy future.
