Young Filipino Footballers Set to Compete in Norway Cup 2026
Leyte Association of Organized Sports Football Club teams to represent the Philippines in the world's largest youth soccer tournament.

In an exciting development for Filipino sports, the Leyte Association of Organized Sports Football Club (LAOS FC) is set to send both boys’ and girls’ teams to the Norway Cup 2026, an esteemed international youth soccer tournament. This event, scheduled to take place in Oslo from July 25 to August 1, 2026, is recognized as a significant youth football competition, attracting teams from numerous countries.
The participation of LAOS FC in this prestigious tournament is made possible through the support of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), a prominent player in the Philippine property sector under the Gokongwei Group. Each team will consist of 16 players, accompanied by a head coach, assistant coach, goalkeeping coach, physiotherapist, and a doctor, marking a significant commitment to youth sports development.

Many of the players are balancing their athletic pursuits with academic commitments at prestigious institutions such as Ateneo de Manila University and the University of Santo Tomas, highlighting their dedication both on and off the field.
