Seekers Independent Spirits, a Cambodian craft spirits producer, has recently achieved international recognition as its Jason Kong Gin range won the top honour in the Packaging category at the Digital Label and Packaging Awards held in London. The gin also received a nomination in the Design category, underscoring the innovative approach the company has taken in branding its premium spirits.

The awards celebrate excellence in packaging and label design, with judges praising Jason Kong’s unique combination of bespoke and unconventional packaging. The winning entry features distinctive aluminium pouches that draw inspiration from specialty coffee packaging, departing from traditional gift boxes or tubes typically associated with premium spirits.

The aluminium pouches, as she explained, offer both visual appeal and practical functionality, protecting the vibrant natural colours derived from the botanicals used in the gin.
