Vietnam Airlines and Bao Viet have been ranked among the top ten strongest brands in Vietnam for 2026, according to a recent report by Brand Finance, a global brand valuation consultancy based in the UK. This recognition highlights the companies' efforts in enhancing customer service and maintaining strong brand reputations.
Vietnam Airlines stands out as the only representative from the aviation sector in this prestigious ranking. The airline has been commended for its customer-centric model, continuous service improvements, and strong brand presence in the aviation industry. According to Brand Finance, these factors are crucial components of the Brand Strength Index (BSI), alongside the financial value of the brand.
Over the years, Vietnam Airlines has implemented a long-term development strategy that focuses on enhancing service quality, modernizing its fleet, and expanding its international routes. The airline's commitment to national duties, including humanitarian missions and diplomatic flights, has also contributed to its unique position in both domestic and international markets.
A significant milestone in Vietnam Airlines' growth strategy is its recent investment in 50 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, marking the largest aircraft procurement deal in the airline's history. This project aims to enhance operational capacity, rejuvenate the fleet, and lay the groundwork for future route expansions.
