Company backgroundVietnam Rubber Group (VRG) is a major Vietnamese economic group operating primarily in natural rubber planting, harvesting, and processing, as well as related industrial sectors.
VRG manages nearly 378,000 hectares of rubber plantations across Vietnam and in Laos and Cambodia, producing over 500,000 tons of rubber annually for export to more than 70 countries. The group also operates in wood processing, industrial rubber products manufacturing, industrial park development, high-tech agriculture, and clean and renewable energy sectors.
Vietnam Rubber Group was established in 1975 and currently operates as a joint stock company with over 97% of its shares owned by the Vietnamese state.
