Company backgroundThe centre was originally established as the Centre for Road Safety Studies in February 2011 and was renamed and restructured as the Centre for Transport Research in July 2014.
CfTR is the only dedicated transport research centre in Brunei Darussalam supporting national transport development through research, innovation, and stakeholder engagement. CfTR conducts research activities including policy studies, transport modelling, and intelligent transport systems focusing on transport safety, highway and geotechnics, and traffic.
