Frasers Property Singapore Announces Leadership Change Amid Major Restructuring
Soon Su Lin steps down as CEO, succeeded by Tan Wee Hsien as part of a strategic overhaul.

Soon Su Lin will step down as the chief executive officer of Frasers Property Singapore on October 1, 2026, after nearly a decade with the company. She will transition to a group advisory role, as announced in a bourse filing on July 3.
Tan Wee Hsien, currently CEO of CapitaLand Development for Vietnam and International, will take over as CEO-designate starting September 8, 2026. This leadership change coincides with a significant restructuring of Frasers Property's Frasers Hospitality Trust portfolio, which was privatised in 2025 for approximately S$2.1 billion (about USD 1.5 billion).

Background of Soon Su Lin
Having led Frasers Property Singapore since 2022, Soon has been with the group for over nine years. Before her current role, she was the CEO of development at Frasers Property in Thailand. Her previous experience includes serving as CEO of Orchard Turn Developments, which developed the Ion Orchard retail mall, and as executive director at CBRE, an international property consultancy.
Profile of Incoming CEO Tan Wee Hsien
Tan brings over 30 years of experience in the Asia-Pacific real estate sector. In his new role, he will oversee the strategic direction, investments, operations, and development management of Frasers Property’s diverse portfolio, which includes retail, commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties in Singapore. Tan holds directorships on over 50 boards and has previously served as CEO at MCL Land and director at Hongkong Land.
Market Reaction
Following the announcement, shares of Frasers Property closed at S$1.07 (approximately USD 0.79), reflecting a slight increase of 0.9% on July 2. Analysts will be closely monitoring how this leadership transition impacts the company amid its ongoing restructuring efforts.
