Growing Demand for Cryptocurrency Education in the Philippines

In light of the increasing volatility in cryptocurrency markets, there is a notable surge in Filipinos seeking structured education to enhance their trading skills and manage risks more effectively. According to Arlone Abello, CEO of the Global Miranda Miner Group (GMMG), the unpredictable nature of these markets has highlighted the necessity for traders to develop technical analysis skills and adopt disciplined risk management strategies.

Abello emphasized that many Filipino investors, who often enter the market during bullish trends, find themselves unprepared for subsequent corrections. This lack of preparation can lead to significant financial losses, primarily due to emotional trading and the absence of a structured strategy. "Volatility frequently shocks the community. Filipino investors and traders need to understand that crypto markets are not just about price prediction," he stated.

To address this educational gap, GMMG has introduced a face-to-face Crypto Technical Analyst Executive Course, which is supported by the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange. This course aims to equip participants with essential skills in technical analysis, market psychology, risk management, and trading execution.

The Philippines has emerged as one of the more active cryptocurrency markets globally, with estimates suggesting that approximately 22 to 23 percent of the population holds digital assets. This growing engagement reflects a broader trend of increasing interest in cryptocurrencies among Filipinos, who are now recognizing the importance of education in navigating this complex landscape.
