Malaysia to Host Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang Circuit in 2026

Malaysia is preparing to welcome back Formula One (F1) to the Sepang International Circuit after a nine-year absence. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who expressed enthusiasm for the return of the prestigious motorsport event.

The Sepang International Circuit, located approximately 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur, has a rich history of hosting F1 races from 1999 until 2017.

According to reports from ESPN, the Bahrain Grand Prix will be held at Sepang due to the postponement of the race originally scheduled for Bahrain, linked to the ongoing geopolitical situation in the region.
