TCBS Reports Record Q3 Profit: Over $90 Million in Earnings
Vietnam's TCBS achieves its highest quarterly profit ever, driven by strong growth in margin lending and investment banking.

Vietnam's Techcom Securities Joint Stock Company (TCBS) has announced a record pre-tax profit of approximately 2,152 billion VND ($90 million) for the third quarter of 2026, marking the highest quarterly earnings in the company's history. This figure represents a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2025, contributing to a total pre-tax profit of 5,708 billion VND ($240 million) for the first nine months of the year, achieving 76% of its annual profit target.
According to the financial report, TCBS's growth has been significantly driven by its margin lending and advance payment services, which generated a net income of 1,548 billion VND ($64 million) in Q3, a 55% increase year-on-year. The total outstanding margin loans reached 54,740 billion VND ($2.3 billion), up 25% from the end of 2025 and 6% from the end of Q2 2026, indicating the firm's strong position in the market.

In terms of investment banking, TCBS reported a net income of 740 billion VND ($31 million), reflecting a 45% increase from the previous year. The total value of bonds issued during the quarter reached nearly 29.7 trillion VND ($1.25 billion), capturing 46% of the corporate bond market share, excluding bank bonds. This growth highlights TCBS's strong advisory and capital arrangement capabilities in a rapidly evolving capital market.
Additionally, TCBS has been proactive in diversifying its product offerings. The company launched the TCBS MCP, an AI-driven platform that provides real-time market data and in-depth analysis, enhancing the investment research experience for users. The platform's introduction aligns with TCBS's ongoing strategy to integrate AI into its operations, having already implemented over 1,100 technology initiatives this year.
