Indonesian vice rector caught using meths

Indonesian police early today (14 Nov 2014) arrested Hasanuddin University (Unhas) vice rector for academic and student affairs, Musakkir, on the charge of using shabu-shabu (crystal methamphetamine) at the Grand Malibu Hotel in Makassar, South Sulawesi, according to tempo.com.

The police caught Musakkir, who has been awarded by Unhas as a professor of law, with two female students and Ismail Alrip, another lecturer from the same university.

“We arrested them after receiving information from local residents,” said Makassar City Police Narcotics Unit head Adj Sr Comr Syamsu Arib.

Syamsu said the police confiscated two packages of crystal methamphetamine.
